Assessors

Assessors are child protection workers who have specialized training in foster care and adoption and are responsible for performing duties and completing state forms related to adoption and foster care. Assessors must be employed by, appointed by, or under contract with a court, public children services agency, private child placing agency, or private noncustodial agency.
